Description:
The Johannes Walther Award is awarded to scientists at any stage in their career who are considered to have made a significant impact in the field of sedimentology.

Nomination Process:
(1) 1 nomination letter by a senior proposer, outlining the main scientific contributions by the nominee (2) at least 1 support letter from another academic to second the proposal (3) a full CV of the nominee (4) a list of the 10 most significant publications + a complete bibliography
