Description:
The World Reef Award is comparable to the preceding awards, but is reserved for a member coming from a location, social group, gender or background from within which their potential to achieve is likely to have been restricted in some way, to a greater or lesser extent. A single award is made annually in recognition of achievement by an individual who is a member of a group apparently disadvantaged or under-represented in the field of reef science or management.

Nomination Process:
(1) a completed ISRS Awards Nomination Form (2) a one-page nomination letter (3) two letters of support from other current ISRS members (4) a CV of the nominee
